Six-Channel T’ang-ku-la Amplification Circuit

Topping has equipped the A900 with an optimized six-channel T’ang-ku-la amplifier circuit. The T’ang-ku-la architecture adopts a new patented three-stage feedback circuit. It effectively reduces circuit noise and high-frequency distortion, resulting in clean and accurate sound reproduction. The Topping A900 achieves ground-breaking performance with a dynamic range of 151dB and a full-band THD+N(90kBW) of 0.00003%. Moreover, this new T’ang-ku-la circuit has lower circuit heat generation.

Topping A900 is not just any amplifier, it’s among the most powerful consumer available headphone amplifiers. The A900 gets an output power thrust of 22,000mW per channel at 16Ω of impedance load. Even at super heavy 600Ω impedance, the A900 throws out 750mW per channel, easily driving any headphone on the market.

A Full Range of Headphone Outputs

Topping A900 houses six physical output ports, fully supporting four mainstream headphone terminations. It features a 6.35mm single-ended port, a 4.4mm balanced connection port, two 4-pin XLR balanced connection ports, and dual 3-pin balanced output ports. Topping has featured premium-quality connectors from Neutrik and Pentaconn for a stable and reliable performance.

Pre-Amp Function Support

Topping A900 supports pre-amp output as well, it offers a dedicated pure preamp mode. Isolated Power Supply

Topping A900 features an isolated power supply design. The digital processing circuit has a physically isolated power supply from the two analog amplification circuits. It ensures proper power delivery to different sections on the audio circuitry.
